Subject consisted in making a small public office with the free service of photocopies in the Muca Campus Museum, located in the heart of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. People could photocopy anything they wanted, with two conditions.
First the materials used in the public office were coming from the University, this means the printing was part of the museum offices and the paper was recycled, the sheets included all kind of comunications and documents such as museum budgets. Second to leave an extra copy in the archive that was generated simtaneously and collectively; in this way an artist’s book was being formed.
Since it was a collective exhibition, I asked my colleagues to photocopy something of what their piece was made of, from a sketch to the work itself.
